Proponents of the vegan diet tout its perceived health benefits, stating that it has been found to provide “more fiber, antioxidants, and beneficial plant compounds” than other diets. Not only that, but it can also be richer in certain vitamins, such as potassium and magnesium. Fans of the diet also note its environmental benefits, namely that eliminating meat and dairy will help reduce your environmental impact. For those reasons and more, the popularity of veganism is on the rise.

Everywhere you go, it seems as if more and more plant-based options are popping up on restaurant menus around town, marking a clear shift for veganism from fringe movement to popular diet. Further proof of that is the fact that, in the past year, Deliveroo’s vegan orders have increased by 115 percent. In addition to that, the number of restaurants on the platform that offer vegan options has more than doubled.

With World Vegan Day just around the corner (it’s held annually on November 1), we’ve rounded up the most popular vegan dishes on Deliveroo for you to try, whether you’ve been vegan for years or are just looking to add more plants to your diet.
